The Youth Platform participated in the event organised by  AHF Zambia commemorating International Condom’s Day under the theme “Just Use It” at Mukuni College of Nursing and Applied Sciences in Kabwe. 

The Condom Distribution Day was organized to strengthen sexual and reproductive health awareness among adolescents and young adults. The initiative aimed to reduce the risk of STIs, including HIV, prevent unintended pregnancies, and promote consistent and correct condom use by increasing access to free condoms and accurate health information.

During the event:

• Free male condoms were discreetly distributed at designated booths across campus to ensure privacy and reduce stigma.

• Approximately 100 adolescents attended and benefited from the initiative.

• Short educational talks were delivered on correct and consistent condom use, STI and HIV prevention, the importance of regular testing, and addressing myths and misconceptions about condoms.

• Demonstrations on correct condom use were conducted using anatomical models.
