During Quarter 2 of 2026, The Youth Platform Three-Sixty (TYP360), with support from the Churches Health Association of Zambia (CHAZ) through the Expanded Church Response (ECR) Global Fund Project, continued implementing the SIGHT Project across 22 supported health facilities in Choma and Kazungula Districts. The project remained focused on expanding access to HIV prevention and treatment services, strengthening facility-community linkages, and enhancing accountability for the delivery of quality, youth-friendly health services.

Through integrated community outreaches, adolescents and young people accessed HIV prevention services, including Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) information and services, HIV testing and counselling, and referrals for appropriate care. Community awareness campaigns on Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) also equipped young people and community members with knowledge on prevention, reporting, and access to survivor support services, contributing to safer and more supportive communities.

To improve comprehensive service delivery, the project further integrated Tuberculosis (TB) screening into outreach activities, strengthening early case identification and timely linkage to diagnosis and treatment. By delivering integrated HIV, TB, and SRHR services through both health facilities and community platforms, the project continued to reduce barriers to healthcare, promote health-seeking behaviour among adolescents and young people, and strengthen collaboration between communities and health facilities in improving health outcomes.

Key Achievements

• HIV Testing — 2,944 tests conducted, with strong uptake among young women.
• PrEP Initiations — 490 young people started prevention therapy, nearly tripling Quarter 1 figures.
• TB Screening — 1,211 learners screened, with 41 referred for preventive therapy.
• GBV Awareness — 19 sessions held, resulting in documentation of 56 sexual violence cases.
• Peer Training — 40 peer educators trained in SRH, counselling, disability inclusion, and mental health.
