On 12th March, as Zambia commemorated Youth Day under the theme “Arise and Soar,” Youth Platform Three Sixty (TYP360) proudly participated in the Youth Day exhibition in Choma District at Independence Stadium. The event brought together young people, government representatives, youth organizations, and other stakeholders to celebrate and showcase initiatives that empower young people.

The celebrations were graced by the Guest of Honor, Hon. Cornelius Mweetwa, Minister of Information and Media and Member of Parliament, highlighting the importance of youth participation in national development.

We were also proud that Ms. Miranda Ziba, a TYP staff member, served as one of the Masters of Ceremony, working together with other MCs to ensure the program ran smoothly and successfully.

Youth Day 2026 reminded young people to seize opportunities, make informed decisions, and use their knowledge and skills to create opportunities for themselves and contribute positively to their communities.
