Strengthening Community Action Against Gender-Based Violence

As part of efforts to prevent and respond to Sexual Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), TYP360 conducted 19 GBV awareness campaigns across schools and communities during Quarter 2. The campaigns reached over 1,200 participants with information on GBV prevention, reporting mechanisms, survivor support services, and the importance of creating safer environments for adolescents and young people.
Through these engagements, 56 sexual violence cases were documented, allowing survivors to be identified and linked to appropriate support services. The awareness campaigns continue to strengthen community understanding of GBV while encouraging early reporting, collective responsibility, and improved access to care for survivors.
