February 18, 2025 0 28

TYP is excited to announce the “Be Safe Campaign,” a transformative initiative dedicated to empowering adolescent girls and young women (aged 15-24) with comprehensive sexual and reproductive health (SRH) information and access to quality health services. Running from February 14th to March 1st, the campaign will be featured on all TYP social media platforms and our website.

“Be Safe Campaign ” aims to break down barriers, eliminate stigma, and empower adolescent girls and young women to take control of their SRHR with confidence and dignity. We will address critical areas such as STI and HIV prevention and testing, family planning and contraceptives, and access to safe abortion care at designated government health facilities.

The campaign will utilize engaging messages, facilitate open conversations, and share adolescent girls’ and young women’s understanding and perspectives on SRHR. Experts will provide fact-based analysis to dispel myths and misconceptions, and we will host discussions on the “Real Talk Show” about preventive measures adolescent girls and young women can use and benefit from.

Access to safe and comprehensive SRH services is a fundamental human right. “Be Safe Campaign” addresses the challenges many adolescent girls and young women face, including stigma, lack of information, and limited access to quality services, by:
