About YLAP
YLAP empowered adolescents and young people (AYP) to demand better Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services through youth-led advocacy, community monitoring, and policy engagement.

What We Did

Community-Led Monitoring (CLM): Youth assessed SRH services and used findings for advocacy.

Monthly Weekend Clinics: 5 health facilities provided FP, STI screening, HIV testing, and youth-friendly services.

Interface Meetings: Regular engagement with health providers, educators & community leaders.

District Stakeholder Meetings: Strengthened collaboration between government, CSOs & communities.

National Engagement Meetings: Advocated for policy improvements using CLM data.

SRHR Digital Campaign: Reached 8,000+ youth with SRH information online.
