About The Youth Platform
The Youth Platform (TYP) is a regional youth-led network that amplifies young people’s voices, strengthens youth movements, and promotes meaningful youth participation in social, economic and political development.
Through advocacy, leadership development, community engagement and youth empowerment, TYP works to ensure adolescents and young people are seen, heard, protected and included in decision-making spaces.
Key responsibilities
- 01Update financial records – Payment Vouchers and Filing
- 02Conduct monthly Bank reconciliation
- 03Assist in procurement of office items
- 04Assist in the production of detailed monthly Financial reports, specifically: Cashbooks and Variance reports
- 05Undertake any other duties that may be assigned
Minimum qualification
Any one of the following:
- Diploma or degree in Accounting
- ACCA Part 2
- CIMA Part 2
- ZICA
- CA
Additional qualification
- Knowledge of any accounting software package and its usage
- Experience in NGO work will be an added advantage
