The project’s overall goal is to empower AGYW with life and leadership skills to hold healthcare service providers accountable for quality SRHR services. By strengthening their voice, the project aims to reduce HIV infections and improve the overall health and wellbeing of young women in rural Southern Zambia.

What We Are Doing

Integrated Outreach: Conducting SRH outreach and awareness sessions in community and school settings.

Advocacy Training: Supporting AGYW to participate in Regional Universal Health Coverage (UHC) advocacy and National Health programming.

Accountability Meetings: Hosting quarterly interface meetings with healthcare providers to address challenges faced by AGYW.

Community Monitoring: Conducting routine Community-Led Monitoring (CLM) and monthly M&E visits to ensure service quality.
Where We Are Doing It

The project takes place in the rural parts of Livingstone and Choma districts within the Southern Province.
Our Objectives and Targets
The overall goal is to empower AGYW to demand their rights and advocate for high-quality, accountable SRHR and HIV services.

Reach 800 AGYW with quality Integrated Health information and services by December 2026.

Empower 800 AGYW through mentorship in life and leadership skills.

Strengthen the capacity of 800 AGYW to monitor the quality of SRH/HIV services.
