Akende Simamuna is a 30 years old female Social Worker and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights advocate. She possesses a master’s degree in Public Health and a degree in social work. She has invaluable experience having spent the last eight enriching years working in community-based and national-level Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights programs through different organizations in Zambia such as the Planned Parenthood Association of Zambia (PPAZ), SRHR African Trust Zambia (SAT) and currently GIZ Zambia, serving as Technical Advisor for the Strengthening Girls Rights Program.
