ZYP through its inclusive membership mobilizes individual adolescents, young people and youth groupings at community, ward, district, provincial and national level to create a movement of adolescents and young people who continue to influence positive change in society.
ZYP facilitates the transformation of adolescents, young people and their organizations into activists on various issues affecting them in society.
ZYP coordinates civil youth movement in Zambia. The organization does this through bringing together all the isolated adolescent and youth voices and interventions in order to build a bigger and influential voice of the majority yet the marginalized population on key issues.
Effective and meaningful participation of adolescents and young people in various decision making and policy related platforms require skills, knowledge and expertise. ZYP continues to facilitate capacity building, information sharing and learning opportunities for adolescents and youth leaders at various levels.
ZYP through this strategy creates and manages innovative and relevant digital and physical platforms for improved communication and information dissemination for adolescents and young people across the country and beyond.
ZYP places high value on community research and practices this through its Social Accountability Mechanism as the organisation conducts routine community based monitoring and uses the findings for advocacy.
