Our Adolescents Health Heroes Awards 2024
Our Health Heroes honors the diverse spectrum of professionals within the healthcare sector. From doctors and nurses to cleaners, receptionists, gardeners, and security guards, these often overlooked individuals form the backbone of healthcare services.
The Health Heroes Awards serves as a nationwide celebration of their accomplishments, offering recognition for the pivotal role they play in maintaining the functionality of the health service.
In 2023, we introduce the Healthcare Volunteer of the Year award, designed to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of volunteers who generously devote their time to support our healthcare system. We welcome nominations for those who exceed expectations in brightening the lives of patients, service users, and staff alike.
Moreover, we spotlight Health Heroes who serve diverse and marginalized communities, including AGYW, PWD, MSM, and SW, among others.
The results of the public vote and overall winners of the awards will be announced at provincial level then the competition will go on to the Regional and the winners will be announced at the opening ceremony held at the RAHi 2024 Conference in Lusaka on 12th June 2024.
